Bonaparte - A Mechanized Revolution Release Date

You can now enjoy the Full Version of Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution

Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution is now out of Early Access, with the full version available on PC via Steam as of November 9, 2025.

Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution

The 1.0 release lands deliberately on the anniversary of Napoleon’s 1799 coup, marking the game’s alternate-history ambitions with a fitting date and bundling in new content, expanded language support, and finalized systems shaped by months of player feedback.

Set in 1789 Paris, Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution lets players step into an alternate version of history as Céline or César Bonaparte. From the start, it frames the campaign as an ideology-driven struggle, asking players to decide whether to defend the monarchy, push through controlled reforms, or embrace a radical revolution.

Every path runs through the same core mix of political maneuvering and military command, with your chosen ideals guiding how you consolidate power, respond to crises, and reshape the state.

Bonaparte Strategy Layer

The game’s structure blends grand strategy, political simulation, and turn-based tactics. On the political side, players operate inside a dense web of factions and historical figures. You influence infrastructure and population across regions, use propaganda, and push social classes to align with your chosen ideology, treating politics as a strategic front as important as any battlefield.

When words and decrees are not enough, conflicts move to the tactical layer. Armies combine infantry, officers, and hulking Colossi, the steam-powered mechs that define this alternate revolution.

Battles play out in turn-based encounters where positioning units, protecting key assets, and timing abilities decide whether coups succeed or fail. The full release deepens this side of the game with a proper unit veterancy system that lets surviving troops gain experience and perks over time, reinforcing long-term campaign decisions across repeated engagements.

New mech variants, including Mech Cavalry and Mech Artillery, and new maps for coup battles broaden the tactical toolbox and increase scenario variety.

Version 1.0 also rounds out the feature set with quality-of-life and presentation upgrades. The launch update adds full support for eight languages, including English, French, German, Spanish (Latin America), Japanese, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Updated music across the world map, political chambers, event battles, and clubs, plus refined UI elements and sound work, bring the final release closer to the tone of a tense, methodical political drama rather than a rough Early Access prototype.

A full suite of Steam achievements and technical fixes, from localization issues to tactical battle bugs, completes the 1.0 package.

Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution is now available as a single-player strategy title on PC via Steam, published by Studio Imugi and 2P Games. Below more details about the game and trailer.
