Operaludica has released Master Mode, a free DLC for Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir that turns the comic-inspired RPG into something I’d call a full creation and sharing platform.

The update is available now as a separate download and requires the base game on PC. Master Mode is built around three main tools: Dungeon Builder, Creature Builder, and Quest Builder. Together, they let players design their own dungeons, enemies, and questlines, then share them with the community through Steam Workshop support.
As someone who covers a lot of tactical RPGs, I really like that this isn’t just a simple level editor, but a full suite that plugs directly into the existing world of Erondàr. Dungeon Builder focuses on structure and pacing.

You can place new dungeons directly on the world map, decide their depth and number of rooms, customize each room, and populate them with enemy formations, chests, traps, and obstacles. While building, the game shows a Challenge Value so it s easier to judge how lethal the dungeon is.
Each dungeon also inherits the biome of the region where it’s placed, which helps custom content feel like it belongs in the same geography as the main campaign.
Creature Builder is all about enemy and ally design. Creations start from one of Erondàr’s races and can be tuned in detail: name, description, appearance, threat level, stats, resistances, skills, and combat style are all editable.

You can also build battle formations that mix your custom creatures with the game’s existing bestiary. From my point of view, that’s important because it keeps new encounters in line with the game’s balance instead of throwing completely disconnected enemies at the player.
Quest Builder is where everything comes together. Here, you choose a starting city and tavern, define each phase of the adventure, decide which actions players must take, and hook in your custom dungeons and creatures.
The tool also supports custom messages that appear as tasks are completed, which allows for simple narrative beats and clearer guidance inside player-made content. I can easily see creators using this to build short side stories, combat-focused gauntlets, or full mini-campaigns layered onto the existing map.

All Master Mode creations can be published directly through Steam Workshop, so players can browse and download community-made adventures as they appear.
The DLC itself is free, supports English, Italian, Japanese, and both European and Latin American Spanish with full audio. Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir is a hand-drawn, turn-based RPG based on Sergio Bonelli Editore’s Dragonero comic series.
It combines overworld travel and dungeon crawling with grid-based tactical combat and a party built from five iconic heroes of Erondàr as they try to stop Draquir’s spreading corruption.
With Master Mode now live, the game shifts from being only a story-driven campaign to also acting as a framework for homebrew scenarios. I think this update turns Erondàr into a space where the community can keep adding new stories long after finishing the main adventure and gives new reasons to start playing it again.
