Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club

The indie developer from Brazil, Behold Studios is famous for its Power Ranger-inspired RPG, Chroma Squad released back in 2015. Anyway, the studio is back with another quite crazy turn-based RPG called Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club. As the title suggests, players will guide a girl who, by cosplaying, will gain magical powers. It promises excellent freedom and a vast set of costumes so players can customize every single aspect of the characters.

Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club is set to be released in 2023 on PC and Switch after a ready-to-launch Kickstarter campaign. Below are some details about the game and the announcement trailer.

In Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club you will embark on a journey of becoming an amazing Magical Girl cosplayer! Each costume you create will give you different abilities to overcome quests and contests. But don’t let this journey fool you, because this is not just roleplaying: your costumes will give you real life powers, and the world’s fate will be in your hands!

This is a single-player, story driven, tactical turn-based RPG, about crafting, material combinations, battle skills, and exploring events and quests to find new tools for your crafting. You’re free to create any looks on your costumes, but you’ll need to strategize your choice of materials and skills to overcome battles as they come.
