Solasta II is heading to Steam Early Access on March 12, 2026, following a new reveal shown during The Game Awards. The PC release is already listed on Steam with a playable demo available to download.

Solasta II

Developed by Paris-based Tactical Adventures, Solasta II returns to the studio’s tabletop-driven style: a party-based, turn-based tactical RPG where player decisions set the plan and dice rolls settle the outcome.

This time the adventure moves to Neokos, a mana-infused land facing a spreading corruption tied to an ancient figure named Shadwyn, with the story built around four adopted Colwall siblings chasing answers their mother never shared.

The siblings are pulled by a covenant left unfinished, and the journey sounds structured around alliances that may be useful but not comfortable, plus choices that can hit close to the party’s own history.

Tactical Adventures is also positioning Solasta II as the follow-up to Solasta: Crown of the Magister (released in 2021), which built its reputation on clear, rules-forward combat and a very literal translation of tabletop logic into positioning and turn order.

Solasta II is based on the SRD 5.2 ruleset, and the studio has previously said it would move the sequel to the 2024 rules update once it was feasible to implement. For players, that points to familiar class-driven tactics, but with the newer baseline for rules and character options that the 2024 SRD enables.

The announcement also locked in key roles for the English voice cast. Amelia Tyler voices Shadwyn, framed as a continent-spanning corruptive force; Ben Starr plays Rickard Colwall, the eldest sibling; Devora Wilde voices Deorcas Colwall, a warrior shaped by grief and doubt; and Ellen Thomas plays Anabasia, described as a charismatic leader who weaponizes persuasion.

Tactical Adventures is already teeing up more hands-on footage. The studio announced a community stream on December 16 where the team plans to show combat live, including a classic party mix of Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, and Wizard, plus an additional companion.

Early Access is also being framed as a feedback-driven period, with the developers pointing players toward the official Discord to help steer the game’s direction as content expands. Below is the new trailer introducing the cast.
