It took just over an hour for Starfinder: Afterlight to hit its crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter.
Honestly, I was pretty confident that Epictellers Entertainment would achieve that kind of success with its party-based, sci-fi isometric CRPG set in Paizo’s Starfinder universe.

The crowdfunding runs until November 6 and includes an Early Bird “Akitonian Citizen” tier that offers a digital copy starting at €30, with higher tiers that add closed beta access and ways for backers to leave a mark in-game, from naming an NPC to having a pet cat appear as content.
The studio targets a 2026 Early Access launch on PC and invites players to wishlist the game on Steam.
Built on Starfinder Second Edition rules, Afterlight focuses on a crew-driven narrative: the captain has vanished, the galaxy faces annihilation, and the player assembles a team of charmingly questionable companions to decide the fate of the Pact Worlds.

Confirmed companions so far include Kole (Soldier), Tycho (Operative), Lu-323 (Envoy), and Sterling (Solarian). Epictellers also highlighted a voice cast that features Fred Tatasciore, Inel Tomlinson, Melissa Medína, and James Alexander, with Carolina Ravassa joining as Captain Khali. Baldur’s Gate 3’s Neil Newbon is serving as voice director.
Combat is turn-based and class-driven, with Soldier, Envoy, Operative, Mystic, Solarian, and Witchwarper represented.

The game features a three-action system adapted from the tabletop rules, branching choices that impact factions and companions, and a campaign spanning approximately 40–60 hours, which explores key Starfinder locales, including Absalom Station and Eox.
Epicteller‘s notes Paizo’s support of the project and points interested players to the Kickstarter, along with a new campaign trailer showing glimpses of new gameplay sequences.
