This is a really interesting project I’ve been following for a while, and the news of a release date along with a new trailer was great to see. Of course, you’ll need to be open to card-based games, but just think, you’ll be commanding plenty of mechs. Let me share a few details.

Battle Suit Aces

Trinket Studios, the team behind Battle Chef Brigade, and Outersloth have announced that Battle Suit Aces will launch in October on PC and Consoles.

The game is one of the first titles supported by Outersloth’s indie fund and brings together card battles, character-driven storytelling, and a hand-drawn presentation.

Set aboard the USS Zephyr, players take command of a crew facing a star-consuming threat while uncovering the mysteries of the powerful Relic Suits.

The game blends deck building with relationship systems, allowing players to recruit and befriend more than 50 fully voiced characters. Decisions about which factions to support and which relationships to pursue influence both the story and gameplay.

Combat is built around a fast-paced 5 vs 5 card battling system where pilots and mecha are represented as cards, creating tactical options for deck construction.

Between missions, players can craft mods and drones, customize their ship’s hull using the Pilot Placement System, and upgrade any of the 30 available Battle Suits. The campaign offers more than 50 missions ranging from personal rivalries to surreal dream encounters, designed to encourage multiple playthroughs.

Battle Suit Aces also includes a full original soundtrack by composer Carlos Eiene with over 25 tracks.

The game’s presentation continues Trinket Studios’ signature hand-drawn style, carrying forward the look that made Battle Chef Brigade distinct while applying it to a mecha-focused setting.

Battle Suit Aces will be available worldwide on October 7, 2025, on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. Below, I share with you the Release Date Trailer.
