I already covered this in the title’s overview and added it to my recent Indie Showcase. Just a few hours ago, Forge of the Fae made its public debut with a new trailer, giving us a concrete idea of what this RPG has to offer in terms of its combat system and exploration.
Forge of the Fae, developed by the indie studio Datadyne, is a JRPG that clearly draws inspiration from classic titles of the past. The trailer shows a fairly complex exploration system, creatively designed creatures, a dynamic combat system, and a level-up progression intertwined with the Crystal System to unlock skills and magic.
The game is gearing up for its Kickstarter campaign, set to launch before the end of September, with a planned release in 2026 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
