Undoubtedly one of the most interesting titles I’m following. It’s the isometric tactical RPG Starfinder: Afterlight, which will launch its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on October 7.
To spice things up, the developers at Epictellers Entertainment have just released a new teaser introducing two more companions who will join Kole and Thyco, whom I mentioned last week.
First one is Lu-323, an android Envoy whose personality was reshaped after captivity on Akiton; she’s voiced by Melissa Medína (Warframe: 1999, Final Fantasy XIV).
While the other one, Sterling, is a Human Borai Solarian portrayed by James Alexander (Dragon’s Dogma II, Lords of the Fallen), a charismatic trickster determined to uncover the truth behind his death and fragmented past. A short teaser spotlighting the pair accompanies today’s announcement.
The newcomers join Kole, a Vesk Soldier played by Fred Tatasciore, and Tycho, a Ysoki Operative voiced by Inel Tomlinson, who were introduced earlier this month. Baldur’s Gate 3 actor Neil Newbon is directing the voice cast.
Starfinder: Afterlight is a single-player, party-based RPG set in Paizo’s science-fantasy universe. The team plans to enter PC Early Access in 2026.
