About The Game

King’s Courier is a first-person party RPG inspired by classic Might & Magic adventures. Royal assignments take you from Castle Stoneheart into a freely explored kingdom of towns, forests, swamps, caves, and dungeons. Environmental puzzles, hidden routes, and optional challenges encourage detours, while the story gradually reveals who suffers the consequences of the king’s orders. Apparently, a royal seal does not guarantee a respectable employer. Create up to four adventurers or travel alone, then develop their abilities through classes, advanced classes, skills, and specializations. Weapons, armor, accessories, magical artifacts, and new spells provide further ways to adjust the group’s capabilities. Character portraits and paper-doll equipment screens keep party management close to the classic first-person RPG tradition, with plenty of reasons to reconsider who gets which piece of equipment. Combat can switch between real time and turns whenever you choose, allowing the same adventure to accommodate faster encounters and more deliberate control over the party’s actions. Beyond combat, exploration rewards attention to the environment through hidden areas, puzzles, and optional challenges, giving the group reasons to investigate beyond its immediate royal assignment.
