The era of roguelikes has yet to reach its full potential with new roguelikes releasing every month. This time, mixing in deckbuilding and space ships. Publisher Hooded Horse excitedly announced that Edgeflow Studio’s sci-fi deckbuilding roguelike, Breachway. The game lets you play with a selection of ships while assembling your crew and customizing your loadout all in preparation of the dynamic turn-based space battles that you will encounter. The game’s early access will be offering at least four ship types, multiple zones to explore, a wide array of equipment options, an expansive card pool, random events, multiple combat environments, and meta-progression.
Breachway will be releasing for PC as an early access title on Steam, GOG, and Epic on March 22, 2024. If you’re eager to try the game out today, then a free demo is also available.
