It isn’t the first time we’ve seen a card-based roguelike put players in the shoes of the evil villain rather than the heroes. We’ve actually seen this exact trope play out in Rogue Lords. However, we welcome these tropes with open arms. Developed by Undead Fox and published by Long Tale Games, Dark Lord is a narrative card-based roguelike announced for PC. The game is still in development and a release date has yet to be announced. Players eager to play the game can do so with a playable demo.
