After a long Early Access journey, the dark tactical RPG reaches full release on April 27 with its final version.
Black Anchor and Webzen announced that Memolith : Forsaken by Light will have its official 1.0 release on April 27th, 2026. The turn-based tactical RPG is now complete and available for purchase after many months of testing, community feedback-driven revision, and multiple beta versions.

In preparation for the final product release, the game was renamed Memolith: Forsaken by Light in February of 2024. The game was released under the name REMORE: infested KINGDOM in Early Access on october 30th, 2023.
Memolith: Forsaken by Light is a turn-based tactical RPG that takes place in the ruins of REMORE, a medieval city that was ravaged when the Light of the Memolith faded.
The player leads a small group of survivors as they navigate through hostile environments in a large number of carefully crafted levels, rescue survivors who remain trapped beneath the “Dark Shroud”, and engage in battles against large numbers of creatures by strategically moving their party, using melee attacks, and customizing abilities.

The idea behind Memolith: Forsaken by Light’s design is to create a sense of scale and pressure because players can only use a maximum of three characters per expedition, there is no gunplay in the game and no magic so every move, every action, and every decision about resources has much greater value.
According to the developers, the 1.0 version will follow a major redesign resulting from feedback collected throughout the Early Access phase.
As part of this process, the developer stated that it produced an extensively revised build of the game in March 2025 and developed the 1.0 version to include several elements including addressing some aspects of linearity found in early versions of the game, expanding upon existing level types, adding additional playable characters to the roster of characters already included in previous versions, and rebuilding parts of the meta-game.

As expected, players who came from previous versions will find some house-keeping tasks associated with the full launch. At the beginning of January, the team indicated that all achievement awards created prior to the transition to the 1.0 version would be replaced by a new set specific to 1.0 releases.
Memolith was originally scheduled to have its full release in mid-2025, but due to issues related to its development timeline, the release date was moved back to 2026. Memolith is now on track to deliver on that promise and end its long journey through Early Access later this month on PC via Steam.
