An Ancient Fear Awakens, and Offers a Hand
The galaxy of Heroes of Science and Fiction, the HOMM-inspired Strategy RPG, expands in an unexpected direction with the long-awaited release of the Tumori Tribes expansion.

This major update not only introduces the eponymous Tumori Tribes as a fully playable faction but also delivers a brand-new narrative campaign for the Sovereign Fleet. It’s a double feature that promises fresh perspectives, renewed conflict, and the chance, however slim, for reconciliation.
Who Are the Tumori Tribes?
Described by Sovereign Fleet Captain Annika Finch as “hostile, creepy, sort of parasitical body snatchers,” the Tumori are native to the shadowy Siren System. But don’t let the unsettling descriptors mislead you; there’s far more nuance to these entities than first impressions suggest.
The Tumori are a swarm-based parasitic species capable of possessing both plant and animal hosts.

Functionally, a Tumori swarm operates much like a brain: the more individuals in the swarm, the more intelligent it becomes, and the larger or more complex a host it can control. This adaptability is not just biological; it’s cultural, spiritual, and increasingly, political.
Despite their capacity to possess humans and other sentient species, recorded instances of this are remarkably rare.
It’s a mystery that has baffled xenobiologists and terrified conspiracy theorists in equal measure. As Dr. Thomas Brown 9B, the ever-controversial Hesperidian scientist, put it, “Do not believe in myths unless you witness them with your own eyes.” So far, the myths remain just that.
New Features
- Playable Faction: The Tumori Tribes join the fray as the fifth playable faction in HoSaF. Expect unique mechanics based on swarm intelligence, host transformation, and adaptive strategy.
- New Campaign — Sovereign Reckoning: Follow the Rogue Traffickers in a standalone storyline that explores their uneasy alliance with the Tumori, the shadows of the past, and the fire of renewed war.
- Expanded Lore: Discover previously hidden truths about the Primals, the Children of the Source, and the Siren System’s dark past.
