Don’t tell me this game doesn’t at least grab your attention or spark some curiosity at first glance. It’s called Synchro, developed by Komisoft, and it’s genuinely something intriguing.
The game is set in the cyberpunk sprawl of Solar-30, and it follows a resistance leader battling against a corrupt corporation conducting inhumane experiments on civilians. Synchro features a 2D combat system where you plan your unit’s movements and attacks, then hit play to watch the battle unfold in real-time.
Beyond the unique combat mechanics, there’s also a base management layer where players will build a rebel base, recruit and train heroes across ten different classes, and deal with enemies ranging from androids to mutated gangsters.
