They are like Bermuda grass, like my old friend said not so long ago, even before the real invasion began. You can't do anything to stop them. There are too many of them. This is the reason why I decided to close myself inside my old big house. Nobody dares to enter here, at least until now, but as I said, "no place is safe, anymore".
I could continue to look the other way, to talk about how many great games are going to be released this month, how beautiful they will be and how happy we will be, but everyone knows we have a big problem. Hardly anyone seems eager to talk about it, but, nonetheless, the "brutal reality" is always before our eyes, and Its horrors prevent me from thinking clearly of anything else.
Truth be told, it isn't always easy to find a good topic to talk about every month. Usually, I try to find ideas by looking at the month's games. Sometimes, to be honest, none of them are that inspiring. Nonetheless, there is a topic I was planning to talk about for quite some time now. I've always postponed it, though - patiently waiting for the right occasion.
As some of you may know, one of the golden rules for journalists writing reviews is "never pass a judgement in the opening paragraph". Well, I am about to do exactly the opposite, and I have two reasons: First, I'm not a journalist; And second - I'm rather allergic to rules. That been said, I warn you: I liked StarCrawlers Chimera very much! It was able to satisfy my thirst for dungeon crawling for quite some time, even if it may lack in content at the moment.
Let's take a look at all the Turn-Based RPGs and Strategy Games releasing during March 2022
How many times, playing a game, have you thought "WHY isn't it possible to do this!?!" or "WHY would I have to do that!"? In other words, how many times have you desired to be in the shoes of the developer?
Well, I've got two good news for you! The first one is that this time you won't have to read one of my (in)famous introductions, so you can go straight to reading the list of the upcoming releases! The second one is that this month is going to be very very rich, with games for almost every taste. True - most of them are indie projects. This, however, certainly doesn't mean they won't be able to catch your attention. Extravagance and originality are the leitmotif of the month! So much so that we could find games where the hero is called Hiro, where the main quest is to go and get some sugar, or where you can fight foes by playing on a banjo. Ah, what would life be without a little foolishness?
