A bit deeper inside the caverns where you can find Carico, is a variation of the pet that’s pretty much an overall upgrade. Why ride on a tiny little rock doggo when you can ride on a massive electro rock doggo. Caric is a rideable pet in WitchSpring R and basically the adult version of Carico.
About Caric
Overview
Fully matured Carico.
Caric is one of the few rideable pets in the game, running at better speeds than Carico and Boar Jr. This pet is fairly easy to get, and taming it won’t really pose a challenge. However, despite its ease of access, Caric is one the best damage dealing pets in the entire game. Hitting with consistent high powered lightning damage, this is a pet that you wouldn’t want to miss.

Location
Caric is found deep inside Lalaque Mines just before reaching the very end of its caverns. In the story, you’ll be tracking the Flying Squirrel Bandits by following them further inside the mine storehouse. Once there, you’ll see a demon further inside but you’ll also notice another path leading to some tracks towards the left. Once you proceed to the next area, you’ll find the bigger, much stronger version of Carico.
Use Case
Caric pretty much replaces Boar Jr and Carico as your main rideable pet once you get him, considering his faster movement speed. Aside from being better at being a mount, it’s also infinitely better in combat compared to it’s smaller counterpart that it’s actually a no brainer to switch to it completely. And despite being able to get this pet really early on, Caric is one of the strongest combat pets you’ll summon in the game. Because of its 1 turn skill cooldown, and the fact that Tail Sting does more attacks the more it is used, Caric is an absolute must have in fighting any boss with high health. But as this pet doesn’t really have any STR scaling, it’s kind of a good idea to invest on some MAG in order to reap the benefits of this absolute beast.
