Is it time to update your PC game library? What better opportunity than the Steam Spring Sale?
Starting today and running until March 20, Valve’s store is offering discounts on almost every game in its catalog. With so many great titles available, picking the right ones can be tough. Unless you’re willing to buy blind and hope for the best, I’ve rounded up some of the most interesting RPGs and Strategy games to grab—both recent and classic. Let’s dive in!
First up is Beyond Galaxy, a fascinating journey through the stars featuring 2D exploration and turn-based combat with monster-catching mechanics. I’ve played it myself, and the world-building and story are truly well done. It’s currently 40% off.

From the stars, we shift to a medieval fantasy setting with an RPG strategy game that, in my opinion, boasts one of the best art styles out there. I’m talking about Songs of Silence, a 2024 release that plays somewhat like Heroes of Might and Magic but with an autobattler-style combat system. You’ll need to time your unit deployments and special abilities strategically. With a hefty 34% discount, it’s now available for €19.
Another game I’ve spent several hours on and absolutely loved is Rogue Waters. This roguelite RPG puts you in the boots of an immortal pirate out for revenge, even commanding legendary creatures like the Kraken. The game features naval battles, but the real highlight is its tactical grid-based combat, where you’ll need to master the abilities of unique characters and units. A fantastic game—made even better by a 40% discount.

The latest turn-based entry in the legendary Yakuza series, Infinite Wealth, is currently 50% off. So if you’re a fan of the series and enjoyed Like a Dragon, there’s no reason to pass up this deal. For just over €30, you’re getting one of the best JRPGs ever made. Speaking of JRPGs, there’s also a huge discount on Tactics Ogre: Reborn. This remaster of Square Enix’s classic tactical RPG is 50% off until March 20. It doesn’t just bring graphical and audio enhancements—it also introduces various gameplay and class improvements.
Switching from Eastern RPGs to Western ones, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire—a critically acclaimed CRPG—is now a steal at 75% off, dropping the price below €10. Every single coin is well spent on this masterpiece.
Another unique and lesser-known title compared to the ones mentioned so far is Sin Slayers: Reign of The 8th, a roguelite RPG where you control various unlockable heroes on a quest to face off against the Seven Deadly Sins—each represented by monstrous, demonic creatures. I played it a while back, and I can say it’s a solid challenge with an unconventional difficulty curve. Right now, it’s 50% off.

And to wrap things up, here’s one of the most celebrated titles—both on our pages and among players and critics alike: The Last Spell. Despite being released in 2023, it continues to receive updates introducing new weapons and classes. This game blends turn-based strategy with tower defense elements: by day, you’ll manage resources and build up your defenses; by night, you’ll fend off waves of monstrous enemies. Alongside defensive towers and structures, you’ll have heroes with powerful abilities capable of wiping out groups of foes in just a few moves. If this isn’t in your library yet, now’s the perfect time—especially with a 50% discount.
These are just a few of my recommendations. Let me know your picks by reaching out on YouTube, Reddit, X, BlueSky, or Discord. Have a great weekend—ciao!
