The team at Ice Code Games, known for titles like Hard West 2 and the recently released Rogue Waters, has just launched their new tactical roguelite RPG, Nightmare Frontier.
I’ve started playing it, and a preview will be up on our site soon. The game builds directly on the combat system of Rogue Waters, transplanting it into an alternate 1900s America, where players face off against spirits, demons, and other supernatural threats.
Expect multiple classes to master and exploit, along with intense showdowns against legendary enemies like the Windigo and more. Here’s a link to the Early Access roadmap, which is expected to run through Q1 2026, so it won’t be in this phase for too long. You’ll find the launch trailer below.
