Jump Over the Ages‘ two narrative RPGs are now available digitally for the Nintendo Switch 2. Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector were both released on June 25th, 2026.

For those who purchased one of the original titles on Nintendo Switch, they will be able to download the respective update free of charge. Both of the updated titles take advantage of the enhanced hardware found within the Nintendo Switch 2 edition; they do not alter the overall structure of the game.
The games have been optimized to play at 4k resolution when played through your TV and 1080p resolution when using handheld or tabletop mode.
A higher framerate (60fps) has been implemented throughout all three modes, which will allow you to see and read the many illustrated portraits of the game’s characters, along with numerous interface elements and large amounts of text, more easily, whether you are gaming near or far from your TV.

Citizen Sleeper was initially released in 2022. It is a tabletop-inspired science-fiction RPG. The game takes place on a damaged space station called Erlin’s Eye. The station is home to workers, refugees, engineers, hackers, and others who want to live outside of societal norms.
One of the main characters is a Sleeper, a digital human consciousness that resides in a synthetic body and is owned by the corporation that created them.
At the beginning of every cycle, a player receives a random number of dice. Each die can be allocated to various tasks such as jobs, conversations, investigations, etc., around the station. Rolling high on any task increases the chance of success, however time and energy spent exploring the station (and managing the deteriorating state of the sleeper), requires a player to determine how best to spend their time.
A clock represents how far into the storyline you are progressing, while drives represent personal goals for your Sleeper.

Relationships with the other occupants on Erlin’s Eye are equally as important as resources. By assisting some of the inhabitants, you can gain access to new story lines, learn about things you wouldn’t know otherwise, and establish long-lasting friendships.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition includes everything from the base game, including the FLUX, REFUGE, and PURGE episodic content that was added post-launch. Altogether, this adds up to an extended late-game experience featuring additional playable characters, areas, and conflicts.
In Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, you are controlling a second Sleeper with a malfunctioning body and missing memories.
There are multiple organizations pursuing him/her. When you receive control of a ship, you can then travel between multiple hubs located across the Starward Belt. You can build your crew and choose which community/characters/personal story to focus on.

While the core mechanism behind Citizen Sleeper 2 remains similar to that of its predecessor, there is more risk involved with each roll.
In addition to stress potentially damaging your dice, accumulated glitches could reduce the reliability of future actions. The three classes offered in Citizen Sleeper 2 offer differing skill sets and Push abilities that allow you to re-roll dice or apply your focus to a key decision.
During contract missions, crew members’ contributions will enhance their individual skills.
Contract missions in Citizen Sleeper 2 allow for specific objectives and outcomes over several cycles. Resource management becomes critical, as well as developing contingency plans, due to potential events happening during the course of a contract.
Additionally, skill checks and branching choices within each contract are reflective of your chosen class, prior choices, and relationships formed during your travels. Below is the launch trailer.
