To be honest, I had already announced it a month ago on these pages, but today the developers Kravtology made it official, so I’m really glad to share the news again.
Crux Diaries RPG has surfaced with its first proper announcement, an isometric CRPG set in a 1970s dystopia that never quite was. You’re returning home after years away, looking for your missing brother, but the country you step into is collapsing under its own weight.

A regime losing control, bureaucrats drowning in their own red tape, criminal gangs filling the gaps, and whispers of rebellion crackling through the provinces.
The pitch is one of choice and consequence. Every encounter, every skill check, every conversation counts. You can argue your way through, muscle past problems, or slip quietly into the cracks and try to escape.
The turn-based combat plays out with the same demand for caution; be bold in the fight, but smarter in preparation.

It’s a game that wears its inspirations plainly, drawing from late Cold War Eastern Europe and civil wars of the 20th century, all refracted through a fictional lens.
Whether you stand with the authorities, side with the resistance, or carve out your own path, the story bends around your decisions. The developers have set up the Steam page to share updates and take in feedback while development continues. No release date for now.
