Resolution Games‘ tabletop RPG, Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, has launched today on Nintendo’s Nintendo Switch 2 console.

The game, set in the Forgotten Realms area of the D&D universe, combines the basic tabletop battle game mechanics of Demeo with many of the well-known classes from classic Dungeons & Dragons and features a focus on quick turn-based combat using cards that provide various abilities, party coordination, player choice through story development, and no need for a Dungeon Master.
Gameplay allows you to either play through the campaign alone, or join other players online and team up with them to play as part of a group of up to four players, coordinating your moves, planning your attacks, creating traps and combining your special abilities at will.

All modes are supported by the Nintendo Switch 2: TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode. This makes it suitable for playing either longer co-operative missions together or shorter solo tactical battles.
In addition to its initial release of two campaigns, there are also plans to add further downloadable campaigns later.
This RPG takes the typical tabletop flow of D&D and converts it into a much faster-paced tactical board game experience. After the PC release in 2025, Demeo Battlemarked is now available on Switch.
