Bandai Namco has released the launch trailer for Digimon Story: Time Stranger on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, giving Nintendo players one last look at the monster-taming RPG before its July 10, 2026 release.
The game is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while the Nintendo versions bring the full adventure to both current Switch systems. Bandai Namco also lists the new video as a Live Action Launch Trailer.

Time Stranger follows an agent caught in a crisis connecting the human world with the Digital World: Iliad, with the story moving across time and parallel worlds. Combat is built around classic turn-based battles, party customization, and raising a large roster of Digimon with more than 450 Digimon to collect and develop.
A demo is also available on Switch and Switch 2, and progress from the opening chapter can be carried into the full game.
The Switch 2 version includes two display options: a Quality Mode targeting 4K/HDR at up to 30 FPS in TV mode, and a Performance Mode targeting Full HD at up to 60 FPS. Bandai Namco also notes that players using the Nintendo Switch version on a Switch 2 system can download update data to improve the graphics and access the same Quality and Performance options, though those modes are not available on the base Switch version itself.
