Aksys Games recently announced the upcoming release of Mon-Yu, a turn-based dungeon-crawling RPG developed by Experience. The game will be available in fall 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the West. Mon-Yu’s full English title is Mon-Yu: Defeat Monsters and Gain Strong Weapons and Armor. You May Be Defeated, But Don’t Give Up. Become Stronger. I Believe There Will Be a Day When The Heroes Defeat the Devil King.
In Mon-Yu, players will enter the land of Tir na Balc, where the Dragon King’s Tower, Yggdran, holds treasures that could bring peace. However, the Seven Devil Kings have stolen all the treasures and transformed the tower into a dreadful dungeon. Players will choose from eight different classes and a wide variety of cute character portraits to assemble their team of heroes and challenge the tower. The game includes portraits of characters from popular Experience games like Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, Spirit Hunter: Death Mark, and Spirit Hunter: NG.
As players traverse the dungeons, they will find strong weapons and armor to level up their heroes, class skills, and gear. The ultimate goal is to defeat the Devil Kings, no matter how many times players die. The game also offers three different play styles – Carefree, Standard, and Challenging – each with a unique play experience and access to the maps.
Mon-Yu will be available for $49.99 physically and digitally, and physical pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 versions are available now in the Aksys Games Store.
