Flexispot E7 Pro Review

I admit that, like many things in life, I wasn’t familiar with FlexiSpot products. Partly because I tend to stick to the same few interests and partly because my old, trusty wooden desk has always done its job admirably, so there’s never been a need to look for an alternative until now.

While tidying up my small gaming room, I decided to go for a slightly smaller but higher-quality desk. I was recommended FlexiSpot products, so I chose the E7 Pro with a black tabletop measuring 140 cm wide.

The package arrived within a few days, despite shipping from their warehouse in Germany to Italy. Even while unloading the two boxes, I could tell the product’s quality—they were incredibly heavy. Here are some details and my impressions so far.

I still need to optimize all the cables, but my setup fits perfectly on my new E7 Pro.

FlexiSpot: Who Are They?

Before diving into the details, a quick introduction to FlexiSpot. It’s a company specializing in ergonomic furniture and office solutions. With its headquarters in Irvine, California, FlexiSpot operates in Europe through FlexiSpot GmbH, with a warehouse in Cologne, Germany. Founded in 2015, FlexiSpot quickly gained global recognition for its focus on ergonomics and innovative product design.

On their website, you’ll find a wide range of products, from desks to chairs, drawer units, and many other accessories. My next purchase will definitely be a drawer unit to complement my desk—but that’s a story for another time. Let me share some details about the product and my assembly experience.

Unboxing and Assembly

Once home, it was time to bid farewell to my old wooden desk. With the help of my daughters and my father—an expert in these types of tasks—we set about assembling the new desk. Assembly isn’t exactly my favorite activity, but following the detailed instructions made the process surprisingly straightforward.

Assembling it was an easy task thanks to the “for-dummies-guide”

We started by laying the tabletop, made of chipboard with a glossy black finish, on the floor. The frame, incredibly heavy and crafted from automotive-grade carbon steel, was adjusted to fit the tabletop and firmly secured. Next, we attached the two legs, each containing an internal motor. This feature allows the desk to support up to 125 kg.

My daughter’s help was precious.

After connecting the motors to the central controller and installing the small touch control panel, we used the cable management system to keep everything tidy. Finally, we flipped the desk upright, and wow—it’s a showstopper. The glossy black finish was a great choice: my setup with a PC and two monitors fits perfectly, though I’m considering adding a monitor arm to free up even more space.

Performance and Features

The true magic of the E7 Pro lies in its dual-motor adjustment system. The movement is smooth, quiet, and responsive. Thanks to the control panel, I can save up to four custom height settings and easily switch between sitting and standing positions with a single touch—even though I’ll probably never use the standing position, I imagine it’s a very useful feature for those who spend long hours sitting in an office. Key features contributing to its ergonomic excellence include:

  • Adjustable Height Range: The desk accommodates a wide range of user heights, with a height adjustment range from 57cm to 122cm, ensuring optimal ergonomic positioning for both sitting and standing postures.
  • Smooth and Quiet Dual-Motor System: The E7 Pro’s dual-motor lifting system allows for seamless transitions between sitting and standing positions and operates incredibly silently.
  • Programmable Memory Presets: The desk features a programmable keypad that enables users to save up to four preferred height settings. This facilitates quick and effortless adjustments tailored to individual ergonomic needs.
  • Enhanced Stability and Weight Capacity: The E7 Pro’s robust frame supports a substantial weight capacity, ensuring stability even with multiple monitors and heavy equipment.
  • Anti-Collision System: The built-in anti-collision mechanism detects obstacles during height adjustments, preventing accidental bumps and ensuring safety in dynamic office environments.

The controller lets you move the desk up and down and gives you the chance to save up to 4 preferred heights.

I tested the desk with a heavy setup: two monitors, a laptop, and various accessories. Its stability is impeccable, and adjustments were smooth.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Sturdy and stable structure thanks to carbon steel.
  • Smooth and quiet height adjustments with programmable memory.
  • High-weight capacity, ideal for complex setups.
  • Elegant design with customizable finishes.

Cons:

  • Slightly high price, but justified by the overall quality.

Conclusion

The FlexiSpot E7 Pro stands out as one of the best adjustable desks on the market. Whether you’re looking to improve your posture, boost productivity, or simply add a touch of elegance to your workspace, this desk is an excellent investment.

With its combination of ergonomics, modern design, and solid reliability, the FlexiSpot E7 Pro does not disappoint. The wide range of available accessories further enhances an already outstanding product. If you’re ready to step into a more dynamic and healthy work environment, look no further—this is the desk for you.

Personally, I fell in love with it, and just today, I ordered the black drawer unit to match the desk, along with a cable organizer to tidy things up. It’s an absolutely high-quality product that I recommend to everyone. And right now, you can take advantage of Christmas discounts of up to 44% on select products.
