Warmachine New Update

I think the developer of Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is tireless, never needing a break, given the sheer volume of updates and new content it keeps rolling out with impressive regularity on its Tactical Strategy RPG, released in June 2025 on PC.

In fact, starting today, Trese Brothers gaves us a new class to play with. It’s called Wireghost, a class that blends infiltration and fast-paced hacking. This marks the second post-launch class and the third major content update for the game.

The Wireghost relies on the Cortex Wetgate cybernetic implant, unlocking a hybrid style of stealth and digital intrusion. Unlike the Hacker, who focuses on systematic host penetration, the Wireghost approaches the Matrix through devices directly.

Skipjack allows connections via security hardware without jacking into a terminal, while Security Siphon prepares system control units for signature abilities. Movement talents such as Phantom Slide and Pindrop enable unconventional node traversal, often damaging defensive IC upon arrival.

Fifteen unique talents give the class a mix of stealth and anti-security tools. Manifest Trace reveals lootboxes at range, Kill Switch repurposes mines and laser wires against enemies, and Radio Silence suppresses alerts during ambushes. Spectral tokens play a central role, generated through attacks and traps, then spent to silence traces or fuel high-damage drops inside the Matrix.

The update also emphasizes multi-class potential. While Wireghost cannot combine with Hacker due to both requiring the same implant slot, it can pair with other archetypes for either surface-level infiltration talents or deeper Matrix specialization.

Players can start a new campaign with Bondai, a new Wireghost character available under Advanced Start, or recruit another Wireghost through the Underworld Hub. Existing mercs can also respec into the class if they meet the cybernetic requirements.

Alongside the class release, six new forms of hostile IC have been added, including Poison Tiger, Jackhammer, Searchlight, D-Jammer, Black Diamond, and Trace Viper. These appear in higher-level hosts and introduce new threats, such as heavy deck damage, AP drain, or security tally boosts.

The full update also includes improvements to Agent EX, adjustments to mines and laser wires, UI refinements, and bug fixes. Here is the full devlog.
