Hardcore Tactical RPG REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM Gets Its First Major Update, Adding New Maps, Characters, and a Challenging Boss

The dark and brutal world of REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM just grew larger with its first major Early Access update. The hardcore turn-based RPG, developed by Black Anchor and published by WEBZEN, now offers a deeper and more expansive experience that aims to unify its storyline with its gameplay.

At the heart of the update is the Memolith, a pivotal element of the game’s lore that serves both as the source of the kingdom’s doom and the key to its restoration. The new Restoration Level mechanic ties character progression and exploration to the recovery of Memory Shards and the lighting of Guiding Pillars, making every discovery feel significant. As players restore the Memolith piece by piece, new abilities, features, and map areas unlock, reshaping the adventure in meaningful ways.

This shift from a linear structure to an open-ended approach adds over ten new maps in the Pleasure District, allowing players to chart their own path through the ruins. Meanwhile, the Hideout has evolved from a basic resting area to the central hub of operations.

Here, Memory Binding, Blacksmithing, and other new mechanics enable deeper team customization and equipment upgrading, making every decision matter as the narrative unfolds.

The update also introduces the first colossal boss, Olivia, a multi-layered encounter that demands sharp tactical thinking and mastery of the game’s mechanics. Meanwhile, two new playable characters, the brute-force Inquisitor Becket and the stealth-focused Shadow Sister Mienne, join the roster. Becket shines in close combat with a focus on chaining pain and impact attacks, while Mienne delivers precision kills from the shadows using Speed as her core strength.

Additional improvements include a fresh tutorial, streamlined user interface, and other quality-of-life enhancements, making the game more approachable while preserving its brutal tactical roots.
