Lost Eidolons is an SRPG in the style of Fire Emblem, released in 2022 for PC and consoles. It features a low-fantasy medieval setting, which is likely to appeal to fans of this genre who are often used to more cartoonish aesthetics. The combat system emphasizes weapon strengths and weaknesses, encourages tactical use of the environment, and includes spells and massive boss fights that require a unique combo system to conquer. Also part of the giveaway is Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, the brand-new roguelite spinoff of the original. Just released in early access, this title keeps the same combat mechanics but trades the story-driven format for roguelite progression: each time you fall, you’ll return to base, upgrade, and come back a bit stronger. I’ve put together a preview to give you more insights on this one as well.
