It was announced in October 2024 and has remained one of the titles I’m most eagerly anticipating. To my surprise, a playable demo has just been released for Dunebound Tactics. A Roguelite Turn-Based Tactical RPG from Terahard Ltd., which invites you to lead a desperate band of survivors across a perilous, ever-changing desert. The game challenges you to battle rival factions, scavenge resources, and make life-altering decisions in a post-apocalyptic world controlled by the ruthless Imperials and enigmatic Arcanists.
In Dunebound Tactics, each journey is unique, shaped by procedurally generated battlefields, dynamic world events, and a constantly evolving story. As you guide your fragile caravan through hostile lands, you’ll need to gather Elios, a crucial energy source, through quests, fallen enemies, or, in dire circumstances, your own allies. Every failed run contributes to your next attempt, offering new survivors, equipment, and upgrades from past wrecks, reinforcing the game’s Roguelite mechanics.
Combat features fully destructible and modifiable terrain. You can use the environment to your advantage by destroying cover, creating obstacles, or setting traps.
