2K and Marvel Entertainment just dropped the bomb that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns are hitting the virtual shelves on May 11th, 2023. Both will only be available in digital format, with all four DLCs up for grabs. But hold up, the Nintendo Switch version has been axed, with no word on why.
Hold your horses, folks, ’cause there’s more! On the same day, the fourth and final expansion pack, dubbed “Bloodstorm,” is about to hit the scene, and you can feast your eyes on the trailer below.
Following in the footsteps of Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ previous DLCs, Bloodstorm packs three new missions and a new team member to recruit. And this time, the one and only Storm is ready to bring the thunder and lightning to her enemies. Here’s a sneak peek into her story:
“Storm, a.k.a. Ororo Munroe, is widely recognized as one of the strongest mutants on the planet. Orphaned in her youth, she was taken in by a priestess on her way to visit her mother in Kenya. When their village was plagued by drought, Ororo unleashed her newfound powers, calling forth the rain to save her family.
Years later, when news of her ability to control the weather spread, Ororo was scouted by Charles Xavier to join the X-Men, where she adopted the moniker Storm. As a leader of the X-Men, she used her powers for good, helping people all over the world. In the middle of searching for a young mutant in danger in New York, Storm crosses paths with Wolverine and meets Magik, who persuades her to join the Midnight Suns in Bloodstorm.”
