I’ll admit I haven’t tried it yet, as I’ve been waiting for the full 1.0 release of this highly promising RPG, which is finally just around the corner after a period of early access. This is Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, a tactical strategy game developed by Trese Brothers, a talented indie studio known for titles like Heroes of Steel RPG, Star Traders, and Templar Battleforce.

Set in a dystopian future where only 112 cities remain under massive domes or hidden within mountains, Cyber Knights: Flashpoint places players in the role of elite operatives navigating a world ruled by megacorporations, outlaws, and underground factions. The game’s combat system emphasizes gridless movement, environmental cover, and initiative-based tactics, allowing for dynamic stealth and intense firefights. Multi-stage missions require careful planning, balancing reputation, rivalries, and underworld connections to succeed in high-stakes operations.
With over 40 multiclass combinations, deep talent trees, and extensive character customization, players can build and evolve their crew through emergent storytelling. The game’s custom-built Casting Director engine ensures that characters, choices, and world events dynamically shape each playthrough, making every campaign unique.
A new trailer just announced that Cyber Knights: Flashpoint will officially leave Early Access and launch in full on May 15, 2025 on PC via Steam.
