The 1.3 patch introduces a new UFO type, weapons, vehicles, and more in the biggest update to date

In an exciting development for fans of strategic combat games, Hooded Horse’s XCOM-style strategy game, Xenonauts 2, showcases remarkable progress as it advances through its early access phase. Today marks a significant milestone for the game with the release of its largest update yet – the eagerly awaited 1.3 patch.

Developed by Goldhawk Interactive, the 1.3 update introduces an array of new challenges and enhancements to the Xenonauts 2 experience. A highlight of this update is the introduction of a new UFO type, and to counter these extraterrestrial advancements, players can look forward to deploying “ultimate” tier dropships and interceptors alongside an arsenal of fusion weapons.

However, acquiring some of these powerful new weapons will require players to capture them from their alien adversaries, adding a thrilling layer of strategy to the game.
