Artifice: War Tactics is a turn-based strategy rogue-lite game set in a medieval fantasy world, developed and published by Silvine Game Studios. Released on November 8, 2023, in Early Access on Steam, it features a unique asymmetric combat system where enemies establish attack zones, and players must use their champions’ traits, abilities, or items to evade and disrupt enemy strategies.
Players navigate through various ambushes and skirmishes, utilizing unique movement patterns and skills to ensnare and eliminate foes. The game includes a single-player campaign with 10 unlockable champions, each upgradeable with new abilities and traits. Players can loot enemy provinces for powerful items and face off against stronghold bosses in different biomes, each introducing distinct hazards. The game is now ready for the full release, which will come on August 16, 2024 on PC via Steam.
