Aegis Force New Demo And Trailer

Deseret Games Studio has released a new demo for Aegis Force: The Scorian War, now available on PC via Steam.

The update introduces players to the first chapter of the retro-inspired tactical RPG, along with a revised prologue, new locations, and updated gameplay systems. A fresh trailer was also published, highlighting characters, environments, and enemies that will appear in the full game.

Aegis Force Gameplay

The demo includes roughly 90 minutes of gameplay from Chapter 1, set in the forest region of Ruiner’s Pass.

Here, players investigate the disappearance of supply wagons, encountering battles, story-driven dialogue, and exploration sequences along the way.

Tactical grid-based combat remains at the core, supported by item collection and resource management to prepare for upcoming encounters.

Exploration

Inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and Shining Force II, the game blends tactical battles with a morally complex story. During the new demo, players will recruit allies, face new threats, and uncover the growing conflict that threatens to engulf the continent of Ianua.

In addition to Ruiner’s Pass, the demo features updated content for the prologue, with enhanced visuals, refined controls, and mechanical adjustments based on player feedback.

Further updates are planned in the coming weeks, adding the farming village of Lendene and the capital city of Vigherad to the playable content.

Christian Smith, founder of Deseret Games Studio, noted that the project has been shaped by community input: “We are very pleased to give players a chance to experience more of this world, as we have been listening to their feedback as well as adding more of what we think makes this game unique and engaging.”

Aegis Force: The Scorian War does not yet have a confirmed release date, but the expanded demo is available now on Steam. Below is the new gameplay trailer.
