Rogue Waters September 2024

Tripwire Presents and Ice Code Games have officially launched Rogue Waters on the Nintendo Switch, allowing players to take the high-seas adventure on the go. Originally released on PC in September 2024 and later on PlayStation and Xbox consoles in February 2025, the pirate-infused turn-based tactical roguelite has garnered critical praise, boasting a Metacritic score of 83. Now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, Rogue Waters invites players to step into the boots of Cutter, an immortal pirate captain seeking vengeance against his former leader, the infamous Blackbone.

Blending turn-based combat with roguelite mechanics, Rogue Waters offers a unique mix of naval and melee strategy, challenging players to recruit a crew, command mythical sea creatures, and manipulate the battlefield through cannon fire. Each playthrough presents shifting environments, randomized skill trees, and evolving encounters. Below the Console Trailer, while at this link you can find our review of the game.
