Sigilfarer is upcoming roguelite adventure for PC with an innovative dice-building mechanics. Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, it features a procedurally generated hex-grid world, deep character customization, and an engaging high-fantasy setting shaped by a magical cataclysm.

SigilFarer

At the heart of Sigilfarer is its customizable dice system, where each piece of gear equipped by your party alters your dice, influencing attacks, buffs, and abilities. This unique mechanic allows you to tailor builds and synergies across up to four characters. Engaging in combat, making story decisions, or managing resources, hinges on the roll of the dice. However, luck alone isn’t enough—strategy plays a crucial role, as players must optimize their dice through careful equipment choices, tactical positioning, and well-planned rerolls.

The game’s world is shaped by the remnants of a magical disaster, leaving behind an ever-shifting landscape teeming with mysterious ruins, untamed creatures, and unpredictable encounters. Expeditions across this procedurally generated map require thoughtful resource management, as movement drains the energy of an ancient sigil protecting the caravan. Camping provides a chance to rest and recover, but even here, dice rolls dictate success, reinforcing the game’s core theme of risk versus reward

Sigilfarer draws inspiration from beloved titles like Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon, and For The King, but it carves out its own niche with its dice-centric mechanics. Players can expect high replay value, numerous unlockables, and a world filled with lore to uncover. The Kickstarter campaign offers exclusive rewards for early backers.

The official release is planned for Q1 2026 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. In the meantime give the demo a try.
