Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon lets players haul cargo, recruit a crew, and survive hostile trade routes.
Space trucking gets a harder edge in Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon, a turn-based sci-fi roguelike RPG from developer Satellite235 and publisher Two Cakes Studio. A time-limited playtest started on May 15, 2026, with access available through Steam.

The game puts players in charge of a freight ship crossing a galaxy in crisis. Trade routes are no longer safe, pirates control parts of deep space, and an unknown alien threat has pushed the Trade Federation into a desperate position.
The player’s job sounds simple at first. Take cargo, deliver it, get paid, and keep the crew alive. In practice, every trip can turn into a fight, a rescue mission, a risky trade opportunity, or a bad decision that follows the ship into the next sector.

Each turn represents a new day in space. That structure gives the game a steady roguelite rhythm, where fuel, cargo space, crew wages, ship damage, and route choices all matter.
Combat is handled through turn-based ship battles, with players able to target specific enemy components to gain an advantage. That could mean disabling a weapon, weakening defenses, or creating enough breathing room to survive another day.
Players can upgrade hulls, weapons, shields, and cargo capacity, while recruiting crew members who fill practical roles aboard the ship.

Commanders help in combat, Navigators improve route options, and Engineers deal with damage when the ship starts falling apart. Cargo also plays into the economy, since players can complete contracts for steady payouts or gamble on market prices for bigger returns.
There is also a narrative layer behind the deliveries. Each sector includes story chains with branching choices, including faction disputes, conspiracies, disaster sites, and struggling communities. Some decisions affect a single quest, while others can change an entire region and open new paths later in the run.
Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon is planned for Q3 2026. It is in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
