We announced VED in 2021, a story-driven RPG that was meant to be released on PC and Consoles in 2022. For a long time, we lost its tracks, but developer Karaclan and publisher Fulqrum Publishing broke the silence with a new Story Trailer and a release window set for 2024 on PC via Steam, EPIC and GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
VED is a story-driven RPG that features a unique turn-based combat system combined with roguelite elements. Players will embark on an adventure to explore mysterious islands, confront and defeat various monsters, and harness the magical powers of the Veds.
In VED, the protagonist, Kir, arrives in the city of Micropole seeking a fresh start. Unexpectedly, he discovers the ability to teleport between two contrasting worlds. One world is familiar, while the other is filled with enigmatic flying islands, peculiar creatures, and perilous monsters.
There’s a connection between these two realities, and Kir is at the center of it. As players progress, they’ll uncover the truth and determine the fate of both worlds using the ancient magic of the Veds. The game offers a non-linear storyline, with every choice leading to different outcomes and endings.
Players will also encounter various game factions, an innovative turn-based battle system, and interactive events that bestow blessings or curses upon the hero. Below you can find the Story Trailer.
