Indie development studio Psyanotek has announced the release of Wizard Warfare 2: Cephalopod Wars, the sequel to its 2019 turn-based strategy game Wizard Warfare. The new title is set to launch on January 16th on Steam, bringing enhanced gameplay mechanics and expanded features to the franchise.
Wizard Warfare 2 builds on its predecessor by introducing fully simulated naval battles, complete with ships, crew management, sea monsters, and flying creatures. Land battles have also been upgraded to include destructible terrain, adding a new layer of tactical depth.
Additionally, players can explore new magic paths such as water and hybrids, alongside updated spells and an improved world generation system that creates larger, more complex terrains. While its graphics remain simple, Psyanotek focuses on deep and replayable gameplay.
