Remore: Infested Kingdom RPG

The Survival Tactical RPG Remore: Infested Kingdom has recently updated its playable demo, which can be accessed upon request via its Steam page. Developed by Black Anchor and featuring charming pixel art, the game faced an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign in April 2023. However, the development team never stopped working to bring their vision to life and after that they got the support of Webzen as a publisher.

Remore Infested Kingdom

Now available in Early Access on Steam, Remore: Infested Kingdom has earned a “Very Positive” review score. With the latest update, curious players can try out the newly improved Tech Demo, packed with fresh content and enhancements.

As outlined in the latest Patch Notes Preview #2. Among the major updates, the Survivor Status System has been revamped, replacing the traditional Level and Perk system with a new Memolith Binding mechanic. Survivors now possess unique Primary Attributes—Strength, Dexterity, Fortitude, and Speed—which define their combat effectiveness. Additionally, the Will System has been introduced, bringing psychological endurance into gameplay, where a Survivor’s mental state can impact their performance on expeditions.

The update also introduces two new playable Survivors: Royal Guard Willam, a defensive knight utilizing Fortitude, and Arbalist Edwin, a ranged sniper specializing in Dexterity. They join the previously announced lineup of melee and ambush-focused characters.

Meanwhile, the enemy factions have been renamed—human enemies are now The Devoured, while the Infested have become The Monstrous, each with new enemy types. A formidable boss named Olivia will serve as the Tech Demo’s climactic encounter, shifting through multiple phases based on her HP.

With these changes, REMORE aims to refine its tactical gameplay experience, providing more strategic depth and a darker, immersive challenge. The developers have teased additional Survivors for future updates. No details about an “out of Early Access” release date but i think the game is worth a try. Below the early access trailer.
