Ishtar Games has officially announced Elves of Amberwald, the second DLC for its hit tactical RPG The Last Spell, arriving on PC on April 22, 2025. Priced at $7.99, the expansion introduces a lush new map set in the living forest of Amberwald and adds the Elves as a new playable race. These agile warriors bring a fresh dynamic to the battlefield, wielding unique Elven weapons and utilizing a new “Seeds” mechanic to set defensive traps and control the flow of combat.
Following the success of Dwarves of Runenberg, Elves of Amberwald offers players an even deeper tactical experience against the game’s relentless hordes. The new content enhances The Last Spell’s beloved roguelite structure with rich environmental storytelling and novel strategic layers. In addition, a major free update will launch alongside the DLC, introducing “Apocalypse 2.0” for expanded difficulty options, significant balancing adjustments to weapons, perks, and Dwarves, as well as critical quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
