Kniv Studio’s SRPG follows two childhood friends through a card-driven fantasy adventure filled with counters, combos, and animated special attacks.
Kniv Studio has confirmed that STARDUST: Wish of Witch will launch for PC via Steam on May 28, 2026.

The game is an RPG built around pixel art, party-based battles, and a fantasy story centered on a mysterious wish-granting star. A demo is already available on Steam, giving players an early look at its combat system before the full release.
The story follows Star, a tomboyish warrior, and Yu, her childhood friend and mage, as they leave home and become wrapped up in a larger adventure. A classic character-driven SRPG, with a growing party, story scenes between battles, and a journey that seems to slowly pull the cast closer to the truth behind the world and the power of the star.
Combat uses turn-based tactical systems, but STARDUST adds a card layer that gives battles a different rhythm.

Battles use detailed sprite animation, while story scenes and skill cut-ins aim for a more cinematic feel.
According to the release announcement, the full version will expand beyond the demo with more background art, the complete story through the final chapter, tougher encounters, and a wider range of enemies and bosses. Kniv Studio also plans to release a launch trailer closer to May 28, focused on the final version’s content. Below is the demo trailer.
