All four turtles get their time in the limelight throughout the campaign, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to take down the Foot Clan in classic fashion… on a grid!

The digital version is a faithful adaptation, bringing loads of atmosphere that really drops you into a claustrophobic, dangerous space facility. Whether you’re playing solo or multiplayer, every choice matters if you want to make it out alive.

Getting the digital version is certainly a cheaper alternative than the physical boardgame at $24.99, and you can get Nemesis: Lockdown even cheaper still on Steam until 2 May. It’s 70% off, knocking the price down to a very enticing $7.49. You can also get it bundled with Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace for more boardgame fun, with Nemesis: Distress, an Early-Access survival horror FPS in the same universe!

Triangle Strategy RPG

Square Enix has been doing lots of remakes lately, but they’ve snuck in some strong originals over the last few years as well.

Chief among these, where TRPGs are concerned, is Triangle Strategy, an homage to and evolution of the genre they helped build back in the ’90s. Not only will you have gorgeous isometric battles to fight, but your actions will impact how your warband sees you… and how they vote at crucial points in the story.

Triangle Strategy is 60% off on Steam until 7 May, letting you get it for $23.99 rather than the usual $59.99. The Deluxe Edition is similarly discounted, letting you add a digital mini-artbook to your collection for just two dollars more during the sale period.

Wantless : Solace at World’s End

  • Developer: Drop Rate Studio
  • Release Date: 16 May, 2024
  • Platform: Windows
  • Steam Page
Wantless

Wantless is a very cool concept for a roguelite, and a welcome detour from the usual timeloop or multiverse formula.

As a spiritual healer capable of entering a patient’s mind to battle their inner demons, each run is a single procedure. You get a generous allotment of action points, but each action you take gives an AP to every foe on the board – get too greedy, and you’ll be overwhelmed.

Wantless has a free demo available on Steam, and until 4 May you can get the full version at a fantastic 78% off. That means you can pay just $3.95 rather than the standard $17.99. Wantless is also offered in a few bundles, including one with Shardpunk and another with Gloomhaven.

Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound

  • Developer: Nippon Ichi Software, Codeglue

Both the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions of Makai Kingdom are 40% off on Steam until 6 May, letting you get them for $11.99 (down from $19.99) and $16.17 (down from $26.97) respectively. The game is also available bundled with several NIS classics, great for longtime fans looking for nostalgia or newcomers looking to see what all the fuss is about.

Langrisser I & II

  • Developer: Chara-ani Corporation
  • Release Date: 10 March, 2020
  • Platform: Windows, PlayStation, Switch
  • Steam Page
Langrisser 1-2

Langrisser was an early competitor to the Fire Emblem series, and even made it out of Japan first, releasing in English on the Sega Genesis as Warsong in 1991. As you might expect from such a niche classic, it’s got its fair share of devoted fans, and the 2020 remake of the first two games gives you a chance to join their ranks!

Langrisser I & II are offered as a single title, which has a free demo on Steam. Better yet, it’s 70% off until 6 May, letting you get it for $14.99 rather than $49.99. The Digital Limited Edition, which includes the soundtrack and artbook, is also discounted, as are each of the individual parts of it if you just want to pick and choose.

Great Ambition of the SLIMES

  • Developer: altairworks
  • Release Date: 26 July, 2023
  • Platform: Windows
  • Steam Page
Great Ambition of the Slimes

Great Ambition of the Slimes gives you an army of the titular monsters with which to conquer the world. The trouble is, if you’ve played your Dragon Quest, you know that slimes are weak. The solution is to absorb and possess enemy troops, turning your pathetic slimes temporarily into mighty warriors! What could go wrong?

If you’re looking for a fun, silly TRPG, Great Ambition of the Slimes is just $7.19 on Steam until 1 May. That’s 40% off its standard price of $11.99.

Chaos Galaxy

  • Developer: Han Zhiyu
  • Release Date: 16 June, 2020
  • Platform: Windows, Switch
  • Steam Page
Chaos Galaxy

Chaos Galaxy is a very cool grand strategy game; think Romance of the Three Kingdoms meets Gundam and you’ve got a pretty good idea of what to expect.

After the collapse of a galactic empire, you’ll take control of one of the fourteen factions vying for supremacy, each with unique heroes, warships, and mechs to command.

Chaos Galaxy is just $5.24 on Steam until 5 May, a 65% savings from its normal price of $14.99. Given how much game there is here if you don’t mind a steep learning curve, that’s a lot of value. The sequel is also discounted, cutting its normal price of $19.99 in half to $9.99 during the same period.

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery

  • Developer: Shanghai Sunborn Network Technology Co., Ltd.
  • Release Date: 21 March, 2024
  • Platform: Windows, Switch
  • Steam Page
Reverse Collapse

Reverse Collapse offers some surprisingly solid tactical gameplay, especially considering it’s spun off from a gacha franchise. Diving deep into a war-torn world on the brink of collapse, it shows that Sunborn can do some serious worldbuilding and character development too.

Unlike its cousins, Code Name Bakery isn’t free-to-play; the good news is, it’s 40% off on Steam until 7 May, taking it from $24.99 down to $14.99. The Deluxe Edition, which includes some swanky outfits for the main cast, is discounted as well, going from $39.99 down to $23.99
