Falcom has shared a new look at Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, with fresh details on several returning characters and two combat systems called Brave Rush and Enforcer Boost.

The latest update puts the spotlight on some major figures from Ouroboros. Campanella appears as Enforcer No. 0, watching Weissmann’s plan unfold from behind the curtain.
Bleublanc returns with his usual theatrical style as the Phantom Thief, while Walter brings his violent martial arts background back into the story. Luciola also joins the lineup, using illusions and fan techniques while carrying a more personal tie to the events in Liberl.
The Capua family also gets some attention. Josette, Kyle, and Don Capua return after the events of the first chapter, with the sky pirate crew once again crossing paths with Estelle and her allies.
Josette stays at the center of the group’s action, Kyle handles the more tactical side, and Don’s role continues after the manipulation that shaped his earlier appearance.

On the combat side, Brave Rush gives players a new way to push damage during Quick Battle. By spending two Brave Gauge points, the active character can join forces with another party member for a wide area attack.
Players can use normal attacks, jump attacks, dodges, and Crafts before shifting into command battles.
Enforcer Boost works as a stronger version of Rage Boost and is reserved for Ouroboros Enforcers. When activated, it changes the battlefield, triggers a unique animation, and lasts longer than a standard Rage Boost.
Since Rage Boost already gives bosses access to unavoidable attacks, lower delay, and AT Bonus theft, this system should make Enforcer fights more dangerous and harder to control.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is set to launch worldwide on September 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
