And here we are with the recap video of this summer’s gaming event, covering everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems. Since we’re on Turn Based Lovers, I’ve applied a filter and gathered all the highlights specifically related to turn-based RPGs.
While new game announcements were relatively few, the event made up for it with exciting release dates, detailed showcases, and long-awaited remakes. From strategy titles to narrative-driven RPGs with innovative combat systems, the showcase revealed a compelling mix of both indie and high-profile releases.
Among the highlights were the early access date for ENDLESS Legend 2, new footage from Demonschool and Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, and the highly anticipated remasters of Persona 4 and Final Fantasy Tactics. We also got first looks at promising titles like Norse: Oath of Blood, Frosthaven, and Dosa Divas: One Last Meal—each bringing fresh ideas to the tactical RPG space. With demos already out for some of these games and a roadmap of releases stretching into 2026, this year’s SGF was a solid reminder that turn-based gaming is still evolving and very much alive.
This is a follow-up to the written version published a few days ago, which you can find at this link, while below is the video recap.
