Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series S/X and PC! Developer Owlcat Games has brought its acclaimed CRPG to Microsoft’s subscription service, allowing Game Pass members to dive into the grimdark universe at no extra cost. Plus, if you play via the Microsoft Store, your save files will sync between PC and console for seamless gameplay.

This launch comes just after Rogue Trader celebrated one million copies sold across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox—a huge achievement for a deep, story-driven RPG set in the Warhammer 40K universe. With tactical turn-based combat, a compelling narrative, and a richly detailed world, it’s no surprise the game has resonated with both Warhammer veterans and newcomers.
Owlcat isn’t slowing down—Lex Imperialis, the game’s second major expansion, is in development and promises thrilling new content. Players will join forces with a new Adeptus Arbites companion, enforce the Imperial Tithe, and explore vast new areas teeming with new mechanics, archetypes, and deadly horrors from the Immaterium. Expect more details in the coming months as the expansion gears up for release later this year.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available now on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, MS Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. If you haven’t played yet, now’s the perfect time to join the Koronus Expanse, forge your dynasty, and command your Rogue Trader fleet.
