My talent scout’s eye has just landed on an intriguing tactical RPG featuring the pixel-art style I love, along with several interesting mechanics, and I think it’s perfect to showcase on our pages. It’s called Secrets of Shadows, developed by Jungo Gym Studios and inspired by Japanese mythology.
Naturally, it follows the SRPG lineage—think Fire Emblem—but based on the details available on its Steam page, it offers more than just turn-based battles. Players can engage in various activities outside of combat, including trading, which is a not-so-common addition to the genre. There are also optional quests designed to further enhance your characters.
