Trinket Studios and Outersloth team up for card-battling RPG’s limited-time debut
Trinket Studios and Outersloth have launched the first public demo for Battle Suit Aces, a character-driven card-battling RPG set in a world of customizable mechs, deep friendships, and high-stakes space threats.
One of the first games backed by Outersloth’s new indie fund, Battle Suit Aces blends tactical deckbuilding with narrative choices and relationship-building. Players take on the role of a ship captain, recruiting ace pilots and upgrading their battle suits to stand against a looming star-devouring enemy. Think Fire Emblem meets Slay the Spire, with the warm visual charm that Trinket Studios fans will recognize from Battle Chef Brigade.

Acquire resources and craft specialized mods for your pilots’ Suits to defend your Ship in streamlined 5 on 5 battles. Every pilot’s mech can be upgraded with mods that increase stats or add new abilities.
Mod and battle slots are limited, so choose carefully, leveraging the Pilot Placement system. You’ll need a varied deck to counter Battle Suit Aces’ suite of villains, who have dangerous abilities and synergies of their own. Your unique build and use of the Pilot Placement system lets you form your ideal strategy and maximize impact.
