Odds Chronicles is a tactical roguelite RPG that drives every turn with dice. Battles play out on small, diorama-style maps where line of sight, elevation, and positioning matter, but the core resource economy comes from rolls that generate Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane.

Those results fuel skills, charge stronger abilities over time, and, if unused, fill a gauge that converts into clutch Wild Dice, extra rolls you can cash in to salvage a bad turn. The developers frame it as a blend of tabletop chance and deliberate tactics, and the footage supports that focus on placement and ability synergy.
You start as Evryn, a former royal bodyguard cut down by the warlord Hyria and revived in the Tavern outside of Time, a narrative hub you’ll revisit after every run.
From there, the structure leans into roguelite cycling: regions remix, events branch, and familiar faces return under different circumstances in the world of Lynn. Between fights, you make route choices and handle encounters with stealth, magic, or brute force, which in turn shape future runs.

At the end of each journey, a major foe waits; win or lose, you return to the Tavern with Memory Shards for permanent upgrades before setting out again.
Progression is split between immediate buildcraft and long-term account growth. Inside a run you swap and upgrade abilities, pick up relics and consumables, and tweak your dice through modifiers to push toward a specific playstyle.

Outside a run, you invest Memory Shards into talent trees, unlock new skills and items, and recruit helpers in the Tavern. The first ally you’ll meet is Kau’i the blacksmith, who brings a forge and new build options, and subsequent recruits expand what you can bring into each attempt.
Multiple playable heroes, each with distinct starting abilities and personalized dice pools, further change how you approach the grid.
The campaign threads through places with points of interest that evolve as your choices accumulate. The pitch is less about a fixed, authored path and more about a story that reshuffles around the memory motif, with your actions altering events and recontextualizing characters across attempts.

It’s a familiar rhythm for modern tactics-roguelites, but the dice-as-resources layer gives the action a readable cadence: assign a roll to an ability, chain a combo off terrain or elevation, bank leftovers to push the Wild Dice meter, repeat.
Odds Chronicles is in development at Team Mojo Games and eSolu Games. The Steam page currently shows the release date as “TBA,” but the reveal coverage points to a 2026 launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions coming later. A demo playtest is expected in February 2026 during the Steam Next Fest.
