Genshin leaks and news are always exciting since just about everyone in the fanbase looks forward to new Genshin Impact characters, areas, and possible new mechanics added to the game, and 4.6 isn’t different – but it does seem to feature a new Genshin character that everyone wants – Arlecchino Genshin. So, let’s cover everything we know about Genshin Impact news for the next huge Genshin update!
Arlecchino Genshin and What We Know About Her
This Fatui Harbinger is probably one of the most hyped Genshin Impact characters, period. Everyone loved her because of the story throughout Fontaine, and it seems that we’ll be eating good whatever Hoyoverse seems to be cooking with this Genshin character.
First of all – her drip is immaculate. Sporting amazing silver/white/red/black combination of clothes that look like a badass suit along with her hairstyle looks amazing.
Secondly, she’ll be a Pyro polearm user… but there’s one thing she does that separates her from other Polearm users, and that’s the fact that she turns it into her Scythe with her abilities and basic attacks. She’s so cool! (Despite being hot… because she uses Pyro, of course!)
And hey, we won’t judge you if you want to spend a lot of money to pull for her! Using Genshin Impact top up might get you there cheaper, and she’s definitely going to be an amazing Genshin character!
Genshin Impact Arlecchino’s Unique Kit
Next up on the agenda of Genshin news – getting closer to the release of 4.6, which should be due in a few weeks, we got almost all of the details of Genshin Arlecchinos kit and how she plays, and she’s definitely one of the more unique Genshin characters. First of all, her “Utility Passive” which is usually a talent that’s something akin to “When this Genshin Impact character makes Character Ascension Items, they have a 20% chance to produce one more” or “Increased movement speed of whole team by 10% during the day” – and for our bad Fatui lady, it’s gonna be something a bit more unique.
Her Utility Talent is that she can’t receive any kind of healing from other characters. Yup, you read that correctly. This should already give you an idea of what her kit is going to be about, and if you’ve guessed that it’s going to be about her using her HP as a means to increase her damage or extend her moveset while also having ways to self-heal – you’d guess correctly.
Her core mechanic is the “Life-Bond” she creates and then uses to enhance her basic and charge attacks, which in turn makes her lose her HP per hit. However, her Burst also returns her HP to her so that she can start with this combo anew.
We’ll refrain from going into more details about her kit because it is currently on the beta test servers of Genshin Impact and is constantly changing – so we don’t know what the exact numbers are going to be, and even some core mechanics are changing and being moved, such as the recent change to her skill – they changed the cooldown from 15 to 30 seconds, but she reduces the CD by 0.8 seconds every time she hits an enemy while she is enhanced by Life-Bond.
Genshin Arlecchino Boss Fight
In other Genshin News, we’re getting another impressive world-boss fight in 4.6, and it’s going to be none other than our lady of Pyro and Life, Arlecchino Genshin. Some moves and parts of the boss fight were leaked, but we recommend not looking for it since it is A) subject to change and B) You wouldn’t want spoiling an amazing boss fight and probably the conclusion to her story line.
You can be sure of one thing – she’s going to be an incredible fight which will probably validate that popular meme of “Boss when you fight it vs Boss when you get them as a playable character” – although, she’s still going to be an amazing Genshin Impact character nonetheless.
Cyno and Genshin Impact Arlecchino Story
Cyno is finally getting his character story arc in the new 4.6 patch, and Arlecchino Genshin is getting one alongside him. If they’re both going to be in the same new area that’s going to release with the patch, we don’t know yet – most likely Cyno’s is going to be in Sumeru/Sumeru Desert while Genshin Arlecchino’s conclusion will be in the new Fontaine area.
However, we’re just as excited for both of them, even though Genshin Impact Arlecchino’s story will bring us a new boss fight as well.
4.6 Banners – Part 1 and 2
There has been some intense speculation on which characters will be featured on the 4.6 Banners aside from Arlecchino Genshin. Some reliable leakers have stated that we’ll get Arle + Lyney on the first part, while Wanderer and Baizhu will be the spotlight of the second part.
Then new Genshin leaks came up saying that these will be different, however – it seems that these Genshin Impact leaks aren’t true.
Genshin Impact News regarding 4.6 Primogem Counts
For those wanting to pull for the new character – Arlecchino Genshin, or those who want to pull for the others on the banners that are releasing with 4.6, the pull count seems to be increased from 4.3 and 4.5 patches, respectfully. However, it should be noted that neither of those patches had area expansions like 4.4 and 4.6 will.
For comparison, without including things like Welkin Moon or the Battlepass, here’s the amount of primogems each patch carried:
- 4.3/4.5 – Both of these patches had enough primogems for around 50 Wishes
- 4.6 – Will have enough primogems for around 75 Wishes instead.
Conclusion
Genshin Arlecchino is undoubtedly the star of the new Genshin Impact update. We get her Story quest, we get her as a character, and we get her as a boss fight – all in one patch. Some story bits have been leaked, but we’d rather not spoil that for you. All we’ll say is that she might be a bit more important to the lore than initially thought.
Hoyoverse is cooking with these new patches, despite the hate they are receiving recently. It seems like we’re going to have an impressive few patches before the next huge one drops, which is going to feature the Pyro Nation of Natlan – the last expansion before we finally get to Snezhnaya.
