Best of the week

Hi everyone, given the many works and family commitments of recent times, I have very little time to dedicate to video games during the week, so I try to dedicate as much time as possible on the weekend. Then, with this new column, I try to summarize the most interesting news for me of the past week.

New releases of the week

Rebel Cops by Weappy Studio. This is a spin-off of This is the Police focused on the tactical part of the game. In this new title, we will have to face the boss Viktor Zuev who subjugated the city of Ripton. Davide Pessach has reviewed it for us.

Overland by Finji. One of the most anticipated titles also for the long gestation period. In Overland, we will guide travelers in a post-apocalyptic world where every map we will have to try to save other travelers in difficulty and try to recover as many objects useful to our cause.

Football Drama by Open Lab Games & Demigiant. The game of Soccer in an unusual perspective. Make choices that will lead you to success or ruin by taking advantage of the cards from your deck. Definitely a game to try.

New announcements and discoveries of the week

The Wind and Wilting Blossom by Picklefeet Games. A strategic with turn-based combat that takes inspiration from FTL. Here’s our overview

Nexoria by TERNOX. Received through my STEAM CURATOR page, Nexoria presents itself as a hardcore dungeon-crawler with collectible cards. I will try it this weekend to get to know it in detail.

Project Haven by Foresight Games. A strategic turn-based that take inspiration from XCOM. The game presents a mature story with RPG elements for character growth. A manual aiming system (something like Phoenix Point) and stealth mechanics.

Crown Trick by NEXT Studios. A procedurally generated dungeon-crawler game with roguelike gameplay.
